In that same year, Babylon defeated Egypt at the Battle of Carchemish, Nebuchadnezzar became King of Babylon, and within a year, carried the first of three groups of Jews into exile, including the prophet Daniel. Just as the United States and the Soviet Union were Cold War enemies in the Twentieth Century, Babylon and Egypt vied for world Domination circa 600 BC is technology. Brotherhood of the Scroll is a Tom Clancy novel set in Bible times that will bring the Old Testament alive.
